When concrete is used for construction projects, it must be certified in compliance with the current standards of the country in question.
Certification is based on the concrete production system and takes into consideration 3 main aspects of the production process:
- materials: the quality and quantity of the materials used are essential and must be subject to accurate measurement;
- mixing: the system must be able to mix the materials adequately;
- final output: the concrete produced is tested based on parameters involving the density (slump) and durability (Rck or MPa).
